Hair!

I have been growing my hair for months and it has only gotten to long. but the beach waves, LOVE. After you get out of the shower, twist your hair into a low ballerina bun, hold it there with a claw clip so it doesn't get a crease with a hair band. After its been in for a little, take it out and scrunch your hair a little and put it back up. If you do this a few times until its just damp, then let the rest air dry and you'll get great beach waves every time. I do it every morning!

Those Lips! Colored lips are all the rage right now going into Spring and summer, wear a cute red or pink and add some shimmer gloss over the top, super cute and goes with anything!

The sun is out and I can't complain. Barefoot time it is, high waisted shorts with the bow and a tucked in shirt, what more can a girl ask for in the beginning of February?

DIY bracelets! Chain from your local art store, and your choice of ribbon, try stringing it through each chain and tie a bow at the end! The bow softens the look and in all colors they can be worn with every outfit!

Bringing back the 70's

I just bought extra flare pants that i am IN LOVE with. Wear it with a tucked in sweater, scarf, and heals and you've got yourself a casual outfit for a dinner date or a night out!

Never be afraid to wear lace. Keep it a theme through out your outfit! wear a lace head band as well to tie it all together.

Ruffles Make it All

There is nothing you can't do with a little ribbon and cute tool. Making a double bow on the top shoulder will add more fit to the boyfriend tank. I took black lace Ribbon and tied a double bow and added a silver button in the middle of the bow to cover up the knot. Then, sewing random parts of the polkadot tool to the shirt, I created a ruffle look to it that you can wear with 90% of the clothes you already have. PROMISE. Try it out. you'll be presently surprised at how well you can ruffle some fabric on the side of a shirt. Try it with all different colors!

Oh, and the best part about all this? None of it requires a sewing machine!

Don't be afraid to mix styles!

Mix up your outfits by mixing styles. Wear skinny jeans, a boyfriend T-shirt, cropped sweater, and flats. Add some color and you will have a funky, fun look that is also super comfy.

BOWS

Have a plain black shirt that you've worn once? Think about... Cropping it! give it a cuter flowy look. Roll the sleeves a few times, and add a military style (or whatever style button interests you) on the side of it to tie in the rolled sleeves, it will add a little flair to the shirt from all angles. The bow on the front is just some left over cream tool I had from a different dress, I tied it in a bow and sewed that puppy on! You could do it on multiple areas of the shirt but I chose at an angle and to the side for a little funkier look. Try and out and you'll have a fun, flirty shirt you can wear with almost anything. I have worn this over jeans, shorts, or even tucked into a fancier skirt to add some fun, especially if you keep the bow theme through out your outfit!

I love everything about dressing how you feel. I do it everyday. I love the "Urban" look, The "Sweet" look, Being from Seattle, I love the "Hipster" look. I think expressing yourself through how you dress is one of the best things to do. You are potentially showing off who you are to the world every time you step out of the house. I wore this dress to Winter Ball my Senior year of high school and have always wanted to get another wear out of it but had no where to wear it. So one day I sat down and had just gotten the boots I am wearing (Steve Madden is my obsession) and thought about trying something out, I threw on a scarf I had in my room and put those boots on and within 5 minutes, I had an outfit that I would rock almost anywhere. And with a sweater its even more versatile! Never be afraid to make clothes your own, over step your comfort zone and rock what you wear. You'll find out that you will have triple the outfits in your closet!
